Obituary for Ronald King Laster
Ronald King Laster of Clarksville, Arkansas, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022. He was a loving husband, father, and friend.
Ron was born on December 29, 1942, in Harmony, Arkansas, and he was happy to have returned to his Clarksville community after his retirement.
Ron was known for his sense of humor, his generosity, and his kindness. He never met a stranger, and he was always on the lookout for opportunities to bring joy to others’ lives, which often involved gifts of food. He was an avid geocacher, which took him on adventures all over the world.
Survivors are his wife, Marian Elisabeth Land Laster, daughters KK (Kathryn) Laster and Allison Laster Olsen, and son Scott Trimble. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Orene King Laster, and brother James Robert Laster.
A celebration of his life will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Harmony Presbyterian Church in Clarksville, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Harmony Cemetery, Highway 103, Clarksville, Arkansas.
