Roger D. Pannell was born on August 13, 1946 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Clifford Pannell and Pauline Lingar Bishop. He passed away on January 4, 2023, in Clarksville at the age of 76. He was an Army Veteran, a graduate of the College of the Ozarks (University of the Ozarks), and a member of the Clarksville Country Club.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Melvin Pannell, James Pannell, and Donald Pannell, and his sister, Margaret Pannell.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy (Lewis) Pannell; his son, Quentin Pannell and wife, Heather; his daughters, Danielle Huffman and husband, James; Erika Durkin and husband, James; his sister, Delilah Johnson and his four grandchildren.

Visitation is 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Monday, January 9, 2023 at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Funeral Services are 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Hedgeway Church in Lamar, Arkansas with Reverend Don Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at West Mount Zion Cemetery in Hartman, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Hayden Cooper, Landon Cooper, Reg Johnson, Lance Johnson, Stephen Pannell, and Christopher Pannell.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
