Obituary for Nona Mae Harjo (Willis)
We are sad to announce the passing of Nona Mae Harjo (Willis) of Fayetteville, AR. Nona died at the age of 66 on August 4th, 2022 at her home.
Nona was born to the late Rufus Willis and Robbie Justice (Chenault) on January 10th, 1956 in San Bernardino, CA.
Nona will be remembered for her love for God, her musical ministry to the community of Fayetteville, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and especially the great grandchildren. She never said goodbye, always said "see you later, love you." Her compassion was overwhelming, she would give you the shirt off her back.
She is survived by her three children, Audra Tasco (James), Lanitra Egziabher and Assefa Egziabher Jr, all of Fayetteville, AR; her four grandchildren, Quintin May, Destiny Dodson, Davanice Tasco, and Tyri Tasco; her 3 great-grandchildren, Londyn Dodson, Ly' Niah Tasco, Davanice Tasco, Jr.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 12th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville. AR with Reverend James Bell & Reverend William Hickman.
