Matthew Bruce Acord was born on April 17, 1987, in Montclair, California, to Alan Acord and Norma Jean (Brunswick) Reidy. He was an avid online gamer with friends across the globe. He passed away on April 8, 2023 in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 35.
He is preceded in death by his step-father, William Reidy; his paternal grandparents, Benny and Maudie Acord; his maternal grandfather, George Brunswick.
He is survived by his fiancé, Lisa Anne Crum of Clarksville, Arkansas; his father, Alan Acord; his mother, Norma Jean (Brunswick) Reidy of Hartman, Arkansas; his brothers, David Wayne Acord and wife, Tasha of Minnesota; Joseph Alan Acord and wife, Katie of Arizona; his sister, Amanda Grace Acord of North Little Rock, Arkansas; his paternal grandmother, Doreen Brunswick of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is Friday at 1 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2023, at the Bill Dickerson Building at 15 Poplar Circle in Clarksville, Arkansas, with Bishop Jack Glaze officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hardwicke Funeral Home to defer the costs of final expenses.
