Mary Lucille Smith was born on May 2, 1932 in Chickalah, Arkansas to John Columbus and Fannie Rhuark Sims. She passed away on February 28, 2022 in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 89. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Community Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Newt Jesse Smith, Jr., her son, Ronnie Smith, her daughter, Shirley Smith Callahan, her granddaughter, Sarah Smith and her great-granddaughter, Anniston Smith.
She is survived by her sons, Rickey Dale Smith, Wayne and Dwayne Smith, Timmy Smith, Tony Smith; her daughter, Linda Smith Holt; her brothers, Alton Sims, Cecil Sims, Arvil Sims, Harley Sims, Leo Sims, Billy Sims, Quinton Sims; her sisters, Lena Sims Reutzel and Bobby Jean Denton, 28 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2022 at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Funeral Services are 10 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Hardwicke Chapel with Reverend Bill Reno officiating. Pallbearers are Thomas Smith, Mitchell Holt, Mark Smith, Paul Wade, Tyler Smith and Anthony Smith. Honorary Pallbearers are Arvil Sims and Alton Sims.
