Lulu Dane (Baker) Schabell of Knoxville was born on April 16, 1946 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Fred and Rachel (Felkins) Baker. She passed away on March 31, 2022 in Russellville, Arkansas at the age of 75. She was a graduate of the University of the Ozarks, teacher, member of the First Baptist Church in Knoxville, Ladies Bible Study, TOPS #85 and member of Journey Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Russell Allen Schabell; her brother, Paul Edward Baker; her sisters, Freda Patterson and Peggy Jane Baker.
She is survived by her son, Shawn Allen Schabell of Dover, AR; her daughters, Laura Katherine Schabell of Knoxville, AR; Rachel Genevieve Schabell of San Antonio, TX; her sister, June Heskett of Clarksville, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2022 at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Funeral Services are 2 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Knoxville, Arkansas with Brother Richard Snyder and Reverend Steve Pyle officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Shawn Schabell, David Schabell, Max Werner, Ben Williams, Ronnie Zachary and Allen Brown. Honorary Pallbearers are Makayla Schabell, Fred Baker, Eddie Baker, Bobby Baird, Steve Balintine and Larry Pyle.
