Linda Gail Young was born on March 10, 1962 in Roswell, New Mexico to Clarence Eugene Scarberry and Elsie Janette Freeman Scarberry. She passed away on December 14, 2022 in Lamar, Arkansas at the age of 60. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Eugene Scarberry.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Young of the home; her son, John Robert Blackburn (Dennie) of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; her daughters, Allissa Gail Wicker (Cecil) of Knoxville, Arkansas; Cassandra LeAnn Young (Jayde) of Clarksville, Arkansas; her brothers, Donnie Scarberry (Debbie) of Hartman, Arkansas; Billy Scarberry (Shannon) of Hartman, Arkansas; Ronnie Scarberry/Ron Griffin of Van Buren, Arkansas; her sister, Erma Parker (Jerry) of Hartman, Arkansas; her 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and her mother, Elsie Janette Freeman Scarberry of Hartman, Arkansas.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
