Obituary for Kelvin Fitzgerald Polk
Kelvin F. Polk, 53, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Friday morning, June 10. Kelvin was born to Willie Polk and Sophia Johnston in Havana, AR November 24, 1968. His grandparents were Eugene Fields Johnston and O’Dell and Ruthie Wise. He enjoyed his life watching, playing, coaching, and officiating all sports, and spent much of his life serving in the church before becoming sick and stepping down.
Kelvin is proceeded in death by grandparents Eugene Johnston, O’Dell and Ruthie Wise, mother Sophia Johnston and sister Karen Moody (Donald). He will be remembered by his father, Willie Polk of Fort Smith, AR, sister Marvette Wesley of Jonesboro, AR, brother Michael Ward (Lisa), daughters Kendra May and her son of Clarksville, AR, Christiana Salsman and her daughters of Neosho, MO, Chaneika Polk of Springfield, MO, and son Dequan Collins of Fayetteville, AR.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas with Reverend William Dodson officiating.
