Johnny Ray Satterfield was born on August 28, 1943 in Ozark, Arkansas to Dean Satterfield and Ruby Verner Satterfield. He passed away on July 16, 2022 in Altus, Arkansas at the age of 78. He was an Army Veteran, VFW, Gamecocks, a farmer, and jack of all trades.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucretia "Midge" Crabtree Satterfield; his parents, Dean Satterfield and Ruby Verner Satterfield; step-daughter, Paula Muldoon; brother, Howard Satterfield; sisters, LaNora Vaught and Shirley Weathers.
He is survived by his sons, Andy Satterfield of Clarksville, AR and Rocky Satterfield of Altus, AR; his step-sons, Darryl Muldoon and wife, Kelly of Clarksville, AR; Kevin Muldoon and wife, Tish of Huntown, AR; David Bruce Dunlap and wife, Ona of Prairie View, AR; his sisters, Beth Reynolds of Coal Hill, AR; Danna Waits and husband, Charlie of Kansas City; Becky Muldoon and husband, Randy of Coal Hill, AR; Mona Isenhart of Coal Hill, AR; his 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Funeral Services are 10 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2022 at the Hardwicke Chapel with Reverend Amos Pledger officiating. Burial will follow at Coal Hill Cemetery in Coal Hill, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Kayne Satterfield, Steven Weathers, Chad Kendall, Lynn Bartlett, Stacey Reeves and Roy Roberts. Honorary Pallbearer is Fidelis Wolfe.
