John Joseph (Joe) Kremers was born on January 12, 1940 in Clarksville, Arkansas to John G. Kremers and Dorothy (Hilton) Kremers. He passed away on February 25, 2023 in Clarksville at the age of 83. He was a National Guard Veteran, a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, attended College of the Ozarks (now University of the Ozarks), was a parts salesman, and a nationally known insect collector.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary Pleva.
He is survived by his wife, Trenna (Post) Kremers; his sons, Paul Kremers and wife, Sandra; Nick Kremers and wife, Andrea; his daughters, Ann Lee and husband, Matt; Sheila Thompson and husband, Robert; Anita Kremers; Susie Kremers; his brother, Tom Kremers and wife, Coleen; his grandchildren, Jake Lee, Deidra Lemons, Andrew Lee, Carson Lee, Jason Kremers, Justin Kremers, Sean Kremers, Michael Thompson, Erin Thompson, Brodi Kremers, Gabe Kremers, and Tristan Kremers; his great-grandchildren, Jayden, Hyley, Brylyn, and Tynley Kremers.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2023 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Funeral Mass begins at 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Clarksville, Arkansas with Father William Wewers, OSB and Father Jerome Kodell, OSB officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Jake Lee, Justin Kremers, Jason Kremers, Sean Kremers, Michael Thompson, and Andrew Lee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
