John Douglas Cowle was born on October 1, 1941, in Los Angeles, California, to John Raymond and Effie Lucile (Harnew) Cowle. He was an Engineering Contractor and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Knoxville, Arkansas. He passed away on March 14, 2023, in Lamar, Arkansas, at the age of 81.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Nola Jean (Roderick) Cowle; his daughters, Nola Suzanne Cowle and Claudia Diane Hart; his six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the Bethel Baptist Church in Knoxville, Arkansas, with Brother Terry Kennedy officiating.
