Joan Luella Petty was born on December 5, 1942 in Texas to Jack Goodwin and Luella Dunsworth Jones. She passed away on March 7, 2022 in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 79. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Merlin Allen Petty.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Joe Allen Petty; her daughter, Vonda Lyn Hall; her brothers, Lee Cook, Lonnie Cook, Len Cook and Marcus Goodwin; her sisters, Evelyn Lucus, EllaFern Tatman, Jacky White, Rosie Melinda Dow and Inez Shaw; her 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
