Jim Harold Lewis was born on September 18, 1944 in Morrilton, Arkansas to Harold Lewis and Jimmie Faye Carey Lewis. He passed away on November 11, 2022 in Russellville, Arkansas at the age of 78. He was an insurance agent and a football coach. Jim enjoyed a love of sports and fishing. After college, he became a high school football coach eventually coaching his alma mater, Clarksville Panthers. He spoke often of the players he coached and his love for the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals. Jim refereed high school and college basketball for 31 years. He was inducted into the Arkansas Officials Association Hall of Fame in 2002.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Nancy Ruth Fields Lewis.

He is survived by his sons, Lindsey Lewis and Preston Lewis; his brother, Keith Lewis; and two grandchildren.

Funeral Services are 2 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2022 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville with Reverend Bob Freeman officiating. Burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville.
