He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Gus Masterson and Esther Corine (Wilson) Masterson; his son, Bud Masterson; his sister, Shirley McClellan.
He is survived by his wife, Danna Kay (Elam) Masterson; his son, Darren Masterson; his daughters, Lisa Masterson Graves and husband, Bryan; Missy Masterson Bruton and husband, Charlie; Beverly Masterson Judah and husband, Richard; his sister, Carol Colvin and husband, S.D.; his twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
