Obituary for James "Jim" Lynn Hughes

James “Jim” Lynn Hughes – 67
Jim went to be with Jesus on Thursday, October 26th, around 1 a.m. in Clarksville while surrounded by loved ones. He was born on March 30, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas. He resided most of his life in Clarksville, Arkansas and raised a beautiful family with his wife, Jamie, two daughters, and four grandsons.

With his love for fast cars, Jim had a long career in autobody and enjoyed rebuilding classic cars and spending time with his daughters, grandsons, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nolan F. Hughes, and survived by his wife of 26 years, Jamie L. Hughes; his daughters, Nacole Hughes-Case, and Thailer Hogrefe, and husband Trever; four grandsons, Chance Dougan, Kade Case, Paxton Hogrefe, and Parker Hogrefe, his loving mother, Lenna Hughes, brother Gary Hughes, sister Diane McAlister and husband Everett, and many other family and friends.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, November 2nd, at The Barn at Sleepy Hollow, with Pastor Jordan Snow officiating. Service at 11 a.m. at Lamar Cemetery following.
