Obituary for Jack Howard Ferguson

Jack Howard Ferguson of Hartman, Arkansas, was born on December 7, 1954, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Melvin and Ollie Mae (Presnell) Ferguson. He passed away on April 7, 2023, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 68. He worked as a Supervisor at Greenville Tube in Clarksville, Arkansas. He was a United States Navy Veteran, Girls Club coach, and of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jo Ann (Parker) Ferguson; and his brother, Mike Ferguson.

He is survived by his son, Bradley Ellison (Jaime) of Lamar, Arkansas; his daughters, Debbie Weathers of Hartman, Arkansas; Christine Slocum (Ray) of Missouri; Heather Johnson (Kenny) of Lamar, Arkansas; his brothers, Don Ferguson (Tammy) of Ozark, Arkansas; John Ferguson of Russellville, Arkansas; Bob Ferguson of Dardanelle, Arkansas; his sister, Julia Philpott (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Stephanie Leeds, Blake Weathers, Hailey Weathers, Brett Young, Devon Young, Peyton Slocum, Haleigh Ellison, Saedi Ellison, Caelum Ellison, Emma Johnson, Hayden Johnson; his great-grandchildren, Logan, Easton, Everaly, Journey, Abba, Jackson, Mason, Benson, Dane, Zoey, Breighdyn, Braxton, Kynedi; and his numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Funeral Services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Alan Ray Chenault officiating—burial to follow at Hess Cemetery in Coal Hill, Arkansas. Pallbearers are John Ferguson, Don Ferguson, Devon Young, Eddie Lindsey, Johnny Hogue, and Colby Leeds. Honorary Pallbearers are Logan Leeds, Easton Leeds, Blake Tumbleson, and Brett Young.
