Hester Kay Hurst was born on September 29, 1947 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Sam and Eva Turney Baskin. She passed away on February 15, 2022 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 74. She was a member of Harmony Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Clarksville High School.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry Hurst; her brothers, Robert (Bo) Baskin and Sammy Keith Baskin; her sisters, Ann Self, Leslie Griffin, Faye McKinney and Lula Katherine Baskin.
She is survived by her sons, Brent Larrison and wife, Mary Jo of Clarksville, Arkansas; Clint Larrison of Clarksville, Arkansas; her sister-in-law, Anna Fern Baskin of Clarksville, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation is 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Funeral Services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Hardwicke Chapel with Reverend Amos Pledger officiating. Burial will follow at Hess Cemetery in Coal Hill, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Jason Smith, Jacob Hunter, Chad Hunter, Blake Havener, Zach King and Chris Sinor. Honorary Pallbearers are Brock Baskin, Zach Larrison, Noah Larrison, Josh Larrison, Stone Larrison, Brian Pledger and Berry Medeiros.
