Gwendoland Hellen Moore was born October 2, 1936, in Stoneboro, Pennsylvania to Asa and Hellen (Knap) Slater.  She passed away August 2, 2018, in Springdale, Arkansas.  She was 81.  She was a member of the First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, Arkansas and was retired from Walmart. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Denis Bright; daughter, Deana Horner; brothers, Minor Slater and Glen Slater; sisters, Olive PaPay and Edyes Heckman; her step great-grandchild. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Moore; sons, David Bright (Pattie) of Casto Valley, CA; Dean Bright (Sarah) of Springdale, AR; step-daughter, Cynthia Mendoza of Casto Valley, CA; brothers, Ronnie Slater (Reborta); Bruce Slater (Lorna); Carl Slater; John Slater; sister, Flossie Slater; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, August 5, 2018, at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, AR. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 6, 2018, at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, AR with Reverend David Wright officiating.  Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, AR.  Pallbearers are Bob Sparks, Don Wilhem, Doug Bryant, Heath Bright, Garrett Bright, Joel Ostendorf, Bill Hill, Mike Mee.
