Gerald Fredrick VanLandingham of Hartman, Arkansas was born on February 20, 1927 in San Francisco, California to Joh Caswell VanLandingham and Leona Minnie (Schroeder) VanLandingham. He passed away on September 14, 2022 in Hartman at the age of 95. He was an Army Veteran and of the Lutheran faith. He was also a farmer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Caswell VanLandingham and Leona Minnie (Schroeder) VanLandingham, his wife of 25 years, Dolores Rose (Elbrink) VanLandingham, and his granddaughter, Kylee Nicole VanLandingham.
He is survived by his sons, Jessie John VanLandingham and wife, Sabrina; John Fredrick VanLandingham; James Caswell VanLandingham and wife, Cheryl; his daughters, Nancy Amanda Deaton and husband, Bradley; Sarah Louise Ritchie and husband, Kevin; his eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A family-hosted memorial service is at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the Oakwood Cemetery in Paris, Arkansas with Reverend Tom Bartzsch officiating. After the service, the family invites you to meet at James' house.
