George Lee Brown, Sr was born on October 4, 1933 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Willie E. Brown and Bessie Mae Williams Brown. He passed away on November 11, 2022 in Mulberry, Arkansas at the age of 89. He was a Marine Corps Veteran, a member of First Baptist Van Buren, and a mechanic.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie E. and Bessie Mae Brown and his wife, Carolyn Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Brown; his sons, George Brown, Jr. (Heather) of Bella Vista, Arkansas; Phillip Brown (Bronwyn) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; his daughter, Mariesa Baker (Tim) of Van Buren, Arkansas, Jenny Crandell-Hanna of Mulberry, Arkansas, Amanda Fields (Darren) of Mulberry, Arkansas; 18 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. prior to services on Monday, November 14, 2022 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville.
Funeral Services are at 2 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2022 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Darren Fields officiating. Burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery with his family members serving as pallbearers.
