Obituary for Dwight Douglas Stepp

Dwight Douglas Stepp of Oark, Arkansas was born on July 27, 1946 in Pettigrew, Arkansas to Newell McKinley and Zula Jane Acord Stepp. He passed away on February 5, 2022 in Russellville, Arkansas at the age of 75. He was a member of Mountaintop Assembly of God Church. He was a retired poultry farmer and was also a retired bus driver with Oark School. Recently, he was the Assistant Coach of the Oark Shooting Sports Team.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Newell McKinley Stepp, Jr. and Artist James Stepp, and his sister, Argie Jane Stepp Benson.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peggy Harmon Stepp of the home; his son, James Leroy Stepp of Clarksville, Arkansas; his daughter, Karen Lynette Stepp of Coal Hill, Arkansas; his sisters, Merle Stepp Denzer of Gentry, Arkansas and Reba Stepp Melson of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Melody Rose Vickers and Tara Lee Stepp, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Funeral Services are 1 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas with Reverend George Willis, Reverend John Hodge, and Reverend Greg Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Evans Cemetery in Spoke Plant, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Roger Crouch, Jeff Stepp, Jody Cooper, Gary Franklin, Rowdy Hodges, and Derrick Harderson. Honorary Pallbearers are Richard Mays, Greg Stewart, James Edgmond, Carl Rogers, Mike Ralph, Jimmy Smith, Bill Rogers - The list could go on and on - because the love goes on and on.
