Obituary for Dorothy Jane Taylor

Dorothy Jane Taylor was born on March 10, 1929 in Bellevue, Iowa to John and Madeline (Schumaker) Reistroffer. She passed away on December 10, 2022 in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 93. She was a former member of Eastern Star and Johnson County Homemakers.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George W. Taylor, Jr.; her son, Dr. George W. Taylor III; her grandsons, J.J. Taylor and Daniel Taylor; her granddaughter, Carrie Taylor; her great-granddaughter, Audrey Taylor; her brothers, Chris Reistroffer, Lester Reistroffer, and Leo Reistroffer; her sister, Geraldine Kniffer; her parents, John and Madeline (Schumaker) Reistroffer.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas N. Taylor and wife, Linda; William Jonathan Taylor and wife, Kathie; Richard Lee Taylor and wife Kathy; Paul Gilbert Taylor and wife, Savannah; her daughter-in-law, Rosanna Taylor; her twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. prior to the service at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services are 10 a.m., Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Jennifer Abercrombie and Suanne Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Timothy Taylor, Christopher Taylor, Caleb Taylor, Taylor Abercrombie, Jordan Abercrombie, Toby Smith, Scottlin Steele, and Steven White.
