Obituary for Doris Marie Reeves (Mayfield)
Doris Marie Mayfield Reeves was born on April 7, 1932, in Clarksville, Arkansas, to Edward Mayfield and Bartha Wheeler Mayfield. She passed away on May 1, 2023, in Clarksville at the age of 91. She was a member of Hays Chapel United Methodist Church, Johnson County Riding Club for 20 years, an avid square dancer, and a member of Quartet Chapel Four.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Mayfield and Bertha Wheeler Mayfield; her sisters, Lillian Mason, Lorene Nesbitt, Alice Reeves, and Delores Rives.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Reeves; her nephews, Stanley Nesbitt, Brian Reeves, and Martine Oberste; her nieces, Berta Weathers, Angie Yates, Dee Ann Arbaugh, Jama Hatcher, Melanie Gipson, and Suzette Oberste.
A memorial service is 1 p.m., Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Hays Chapel United Methodist Church in Clarksville, Arkansas, with Reverend Paul Marshall officiating.
