David Roy Lasater was born on December 24, 1952 in Frankfort, Germany to Franklyn and Patsy (McGhee) Lasater. He passed away on January 6, 2023 in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 70. He was a National Guard Veteran, a Deacon of Stillwell Bible Baptist Church, and a graduate of the University of the Ozarks.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy (Bynum) Lasater of the home; his son, David Adrian Lasater and Summer of Clarksville, Arkansas; his daughters, Holly Trentham of Bentonville, Arkansas; Mindy Stokes and Marc of Natchitoches, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Hunter Lasater (Clarksville), Chanelle Jimenez and husband Jesus (Mayflower), Addison Lasater (Shreveport, LA), Brooklyn Lasater (Clarksville), Kadience Lasater (Clarksville), Brayden Freeman (Bentonville), Corbin Freeman (Bentonville), Bailey Newlee (Natchitoches, LA), Connor Stokes (Natchitoches), Caroline Stokes (Natchitoches), and Catherine Stokes (Natchitoches).

Visitation is from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the Stillwell Bible Baptist Church in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Memorial Services are 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the Stillwell Bible Baptist Church with Brother Scott Lockheart and Brother James Goodman officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are Steve Thulis, Nick Childers, Mark Watkins, Dee Carethers, Bruce Phillips, Larry Moore, Tommy Staton, David Griggs, Bryan Scoggins, Chuck Stillwell, Leon Kern, Charlie Lays, Darrell Plank, Mike Caldwell, and Davy East.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson County Dive Team and Johnson County Helping Hands.
