Obituary for Bessie Lee Arbaugh Abercrombie
Bessie Lee Arbaugh Abercrombie was born on March 7, 1941 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Walter Lee Sargent and Gromey (Austin) Nevins. She passed away on January 12, 2023 in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 81. She was a Jehovah’s Witness and she worked in retail and service work.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Hoyt Arbaugh and Delbert Abercrombie; her step-son, Butch; her daughter, Sandra; her sister, Frances McGill.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra and husband, Coy; her step-daughters, Karen and Jenny of California; her step-sons, Paul and wife, Delene of Russellville; Darrel and wife, Jill of California; her brother, Buddy Sargent; her grandchildren, Tyler, Brandi, Clayton, Buddy, Mylinda, and several step-grandchildren along with her several great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
