Obituary for Bennie Paul "Paul Carlton" Carlton II
Bennie Paul Carlton II, “Paul Carlton” was Promoted to his Heavenly Home on December 29, 2022, at the age of 57. He passed peacefully at his home in Clarksville surrounded by his family.
He was born March 26, 1965, to Bennie and Martha Carlton.
He was preceded in death by his mother Martha Carlton, whom he missed greatly.
Paul was a Carpenter, worked for Carlton Heat & Air, a Mechanic, and a Musician. He served the Lord with all his talents, helping those in need saying that Jesus was a carpenter and helps those who call upon him. Paul could play many instruments that he later taught his son to play, just as his dad did with him. He could repair or refurbish anything he set his mind to. He used that knowledge to help people any time, day or night. He would go where he was needed, often volunteering his time even after he became ill and was not well. His heart was huge. He was the Adult Sunday School teacher for many years at Mt. Vernon Community Church and later became a member of London First Assembly joining the Praise & Worship Team of Musicians. He spent his life in service to the Lord and spreading the Word wherever he went. He attended school at Clarksville.
He is survived by his Son, Jacob Carlton; Jacob’s mother Leola Carlton, His Dad, Bennie Carlton, His older Sister Paula Killane and husband Willie Killane, His twin Brothers Jeremy Carlton and wife Sherri Carlton, Jason Carlton and wife Deanna Carlton, His niece Shelby Rice and husband Bradley Rice, his nephew Ethan Hefley and wife Deidre Hefley. Nieces & Nephews, Kristen & Clint, Katelyn, Elijah, Harper, Paxton, Brantley, Jase, Hadley, Gemma, Lynndee, & Maylynn. His adopted son, Gabriel Carlton and his step son Thomas Finch. As well as a huge extended family and numerous friends.
Funeral Services will be at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jeremy Carlton officiating. Burial will follow at Case Cemetery in Fallsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Sonny Carlton, Scott Boggs, Bradley Rice, Philip Killane, Bert Killane, Clint Hattabaugh, Justin Brown, and Nick Kremers. Honorary Pallbearers are Jacob Carlton, Willie Killane, Ethan Hefley, Chris Pickett, and David Langdon.
