Ashlynn Faith Barnes was born on April 14, 2006 in Russellville, Arkansas to Brandon Barnes and Chelsa (Duff) Barnes. She passed away on January 17, 2023 in Lamar, Arkansas at the age of 16. Ashlynn was a member of The Link Church. She attended Lamar High School in Lamar, Arkansas and was a member of the Lamar High School Basketball team, the Lamar High School Bowling team, and the Lamar High School Track team.

She is survived by her parents, Brandon Barnes and Chelsa (Duff) Barnes; her brothers, Braeden Barnes and Reid Barnes; her grandparents, Brady and Lesa Duff, Aleah Duff, Leroy and Louise Davis, Keith and Cathy Barnes, Shirley Melton, and Betty Smithee; her uncles, Brandon Duff, Michael and Kevin Barnes; her aunts, Haley Duff, Stephanie Barnes, Jordan Nichols, and Jade Lemley; her cousins, Bryson and Hannah Duff; Miranda, Atticus, and Harper Weaver; Deacon Nichols and Colter Nichols.

Funeral Services are 2 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2023 at the Lamar School Gym in Lamar, Arkansas with Reverend David Willis officiating. Burial to follow at Lamar Cemetery in Lamar, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Caleb Green, Jonathan Russell, Joe Hilton, Logan Kendrick, Braeden Barnes, Lane Miller, Abe James, and Noah Gleesing. Honorary Pallbearers are Reid Barnes, the Lamar Basketball Team, Lamar Bowling Team, and Keirstyn Carr.
