Arlene Beth Vanover was born March 11, 1940 in Hartman, Arkansas to Haskell and Oma Sosebee Jaggers.  She passed away August 5, 2019 in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 79.  She was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Phillip L. Vanover; her son, Roger Smith, Sr.; and her granddaughter, Monica Bridgewater. She is survived by her sons, Michael Smith of Warren, Arkansas; Phil Vanover and wife, Gena of Lamar, Arkansas; her daughters, Leah Bridgewater and husband, Kenny of Clarksville, Arkansas; Marsha Smith of Conway, Arkansas; her brother, James Jaggers and wife, Willa Ruth of Paris, Texas; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation is 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas. Funeral Services are 10 a.m., Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas with Reverend James Waddell officiating.  Burial will follow at Yale Cemetery in Oark, Arkansas.  Pallbearers are Kenny Bridgewater, Larry Conner, Rick Vanover, James Boxley, Chase Cecil, and Ernie Bridgewater.  Honorary Pallbearers are Bret Lingar, Maverick Lingar, Teaguen Lingar, Roger Smith, Jr., Roger Smith III, Kenny Bridgewater, Jr., and Klayton Bridgewater.
