Anna Helen Schurg Acord Willis of Clarksville, Arkansas was born on September 24, 1929 in Oark, Arkansas to Adolph Schurg and Keizia Collins Schurg. She passed away on August 31, 2022 in Russellville, Arkansas at the age of 92. She was a member of Westside Full Gospel Church in Clarksville and she was also retired from the Clarksville Shoe Plant.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Adolph Schurg and Kezia Collins Schurg; her son, Glenn Acord; her brother, Spencer Collins; her sister, Elsie Coder; her husband, Otty Acord; her grandson, Chad Acord and her granddaughter, Alicia Pitts.
She is survived by her son, Billy Acord (Connie); her daughters, Mary Birkhahn (Jerry); Anita Pitts (Houston); her daughter-in-law, Juanita Acord; her sisters, Marcet Denningston of Alix, AR; Lucia Ferguson of San Francisco, CA; Nellie Schurg of Fayetteville, AR; her 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services are 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Westside Full Gospel Church in Clarksville, Arkansas with Brother David Rayburn officiating. Burial will follow at Yale Cemetery in Yale, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Shane Pitts, Ashley Birkhahn, Blade Acord, Ricky Harp, Michael Harp, and Jim Moore.
