Obituary for Anna Lois Smedley (Dotson)
Anna Lois Dotson Smedley of Clarksville, Arkansas, was born on February 23, 1932 in Paris, Arkansas to Colonel and Deloris Mullings Dotson. She passed away on September 9, 2022 in Rogers, Arkansas at the age of 90. She was a member of Clarksville First Assembly of God Church and was retired from Clarksville Footwear.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Colonel and Deloris Mullings Dotson; her husband, Leo Smedley, Jr.; her brothers, Arlis Dotson, John Paul Dotson, Harlan Ray Dotson; and her sister, Atha Marie Inman.
She is survived by her son, Gary Lynn Smedley and wife, Linda of Rogers, Arkansas; Beverly Ann Smedley Eubanks of Springdale, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Kimberly Karstetter of Dallas, TX; Clint Karstetter (Sara) of Fayetteville, AR; Justin Smedley (Susan) of Rogers, AR; Kevin Karstetter of Fayetteville, AR; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. before the service on Monday, September 12, 2022 at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Funeral Services are at 11 a.m., Monday, September 12, 2022 at the Hardwicke Chapel with Reverend Bill Caldwell and Kimberly Karstetter officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Clint Karstetter, Justin Smedley, Kevin Karstetter, Mark Witherspoon, Ray Hobbs, and Mike Bates.
