Obituary for Anna Marie Shain
Anna Marie Shain, age 58, of Clarksville, Arkansas passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022 at her home. She was a graduate of Clarksville High School and Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas.
Anna was born on August 6, 1964 to Harold and Bettyann Shain in Clarksville, Arkansas.
She was an only child and the apple of her parent’s eye from the moment she was born. She was doted on by her many cousins after she was born and affectionately nicknamed “Nono.” Her home was filled with love and laughter over the years with softball players and girl scouts.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bettyann and Harold Shain, grandparents, Frank and Beatrice Shain, and Ed and Irene Kettelhut.
Anna is survived by Steve Robertson, her two aunts, Helen Sanders and Leona Ricketts, both of Clarksville, Arkansas, and a host of cousins and many friends.
As a young girl, Anna played softball and was very active in girl scouts, and along with her mother, they were well known in the community for their giving spirits. They could always be found at the city ballpark during softball season.
Anna loved taking pictures. Some of her favorite subjects were eagles, hawks, and other birds and animals. Anna had a love for all animals, especially her cats and horses she had over the years.
Anna loved sports. Her favorite team was the St. Louis. Cardinals. She grew up loving baseball alongside her dad.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2022 at Union Grove Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Richard Self, Jeff Dougan, Daniel Green, Eric Haulmark, Takotah Haulmark, and Zachary Roberts.
